Cartography, the art of making maps, has been practised for hundreds of years. These maps are constructed using an assortment of traditional techniques that are seldom seen in the modern day.
The text on the maps is hand written, using traditional dip nib calligraphy. The styling of the maps is informed by extensive research into genuine artefacts.
These Fantasy Illustrations are penned with children’s books in mind. Shown is an example illustration for a page from the classic fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk”
Additionally, below are the “Young Adventurers” commissioned for a parenting themed Dungeons & Dragons book. This was done in association with national American charity “Reach Out and Read”.
